This is an agreement between you and Visable (the "Service", "we" or "us") regarding the digital illustrated book reading platform operated by Visable. By using our website or applications, you agree to these Service Conditions of Use.
Important: When you purchase an illustrated book on Visable, you are purchasing the right to access and read the book on our platform. You do not own the book or its content.
1. Your Account
To access our Service and your purchased content, you must create a Visable account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
2. Purchase of Reading Rights
When you purchase an illustrated version of a book through Visable:
- Access: You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to access and view the illustrated content through the Visable website and authorized applications.
- No Ownership: Your purchase does not grant you ownership of the book's text, illustrations, or any other intellectual property associated with the book. All rights are reserved by Visable and/or the respective copyright holders.
- Lifetime Access: Subject to these Terms, you will have access to the purchased content for as long as it remains available on the Service. If a book is updated or revised, you will receive those updates automatically in your library.
3. Service and Content Restrictions
To protect the intellectual property of authors and illustrators, several restrictions apply to your use of the Service:
- No Downloads: You cannot download books or illustrations for offline use. Books can only be read through the Visable web reader or official apps while connected to the internet.
- No Copying or Sharing: You may not copy, reproduce, display, sell, rent, lease, distribute, or broadcast any Content (text or images) from the Service.
- Personal Use Only: The Service and Content are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only.
- Protection Systems: You may not attempt to disable, bypass, modify, or otherwise circumvent any digital rights management (DRM) or other protection systems applied to the Content.
4. Content Availability
We reserve the right to add or remove content from our catalog at any time. While we strive to maintain access to your purchased content indefinitely, technical or legal requirements may occasionally require us to restrict or remove access to specific titles.
5. Termination
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. In the event of termination, your rights to access your library will cease immediately.
